Griffith Plaster

Painting in Winnipeg

Prep that fixes chalky stucco, stained drywall, and tired trim, then coatings picked for Prairie UV, dry winter air, and how you use each room. Paint fails when it covers soft plaster, open seams, or dirty exterior film. We scrape, sand, prime, and caulk first, then cut crisp lines so the colour is what you notice, not the flaws underneath.

FAQ

Painting FAQ

Do you paint interiors and exteriors?

Yes. We paint interior ceilings, walls, trim, and doors, and exteriors including wood, fibre cement, and painted stucco.

Why does prep matter so much?

Paint fails when it covers soft plaster, open seams, or dirty exterior film. Scraping, sanding, priming, and caulking first is what keeps the new finish from peeling or showing flaws underneath.

Can you paint stucco?

Yes. We repaint and restore existing stucco exteriors with acrylic and elastomeric coatings, once cracks and soft spots are assessed and repaired.

What if my walls need repairs first?

We will say so early. Open seams and holes are handled with drywall repair, and loose hardwall with plaster repair, before any paint goes on.

Can we stay home while you paint?

Yes. We move furniture and protect floors so you can keep living in your home room by room.
